Shooters.io Space Arena is an extremely wonderful shooter game set entirely in space. The game has a very simple premise and its wonderfully easy to get started. The goal is simple and that is to survive the longest in space, have the biggest fleet and destroy and annihilate every other fleet that comes in your path. You can get started with the shooter game directly from the homepage by tapping on the 'play' button appearing at the center of the screen. If you would start a normal game, you would start with a fleet of five ships. The more the enemy ships that you kill, the more your own fleet would increase. You would also rise on the scoreboard by the number of enemy fleets that you will destroy and the amount of time that you will survive in the battlefield.
The gameplay is extremely simple. You choose the color of your triangle shaped fleet from a range of colors. Once done, the shooter game begins and you then have to simply kill as many enemies as possible. Killing one ship would increase the number of your ships. Killing an enemy's entire fleet would bring you a bonus multiplier as well. There are boundary lines within the playing area and you must stay inside. If you go out from the boundary, you would first get a warning and then after a certain time, your fleet will be annihilated automatically. The boundaries should be used for breathers or to find some relief but make sure that you never stay away for too long. The gameplay lacks a pause button which is sincerely annoying as you cannot lengthen your game in case you need to attend a call or have any other work to do. But this is probably the only gripe with an otherwise smooth shooter game.
There are two kinds of controls available in the game i.e. Static and Dynamic. In static control, you can control the movement of your fleet with a round button appearing at the bottom left of the screen. In Dynamic control, you can control the movement of your fleet by directly tapping on the screen where your fleet is present.

There are two other options available i.e. fleet growth and shooting. Each option comes with an auto option and a manual option. For instance, if you choose auto growth, your fleet would grow automatically whenever a new ship becomes available. Without auto growth, you can control when you increase the number of ships in your fleet. The same goes for shooting as well. With auto shooting, your fleet would continue to fire automatically. Without auto shooting, you will have to tap the shoot button whenever you want to fire your missiles. The best strategy is normally to use auto shooting and growth with dynamic control or to use manual shooting and growth with static control.
The leaderboard system is interesting and it records the scores on the basis of your survival time, your overall score and the number of ships you have destroyed in your career.
